The Bhajan Lal government of Rajasthan has abolished 9 districts and three divisions out of 17 new districts created in Gehlot Raj, it has been decided in the cabinet meeting on December 28 that Rajasthan will now have 41 districts and 7 divisions. It will remain valid.
Out of the 17 new districts of Rajasthan, 9 districts have been canceled, along with three divisions Pali, Sikar and Banswara, thus the total number of districts in Rajasthan will remain 41 and divisions will remain 7.
